Glass Fusing/Slumping

Glass Fusing and slumping is a fun and creative process, where you cut, layer and assemble, then fire once to fuse the pieces together, then for a second time on a mold to slump the glass to mold shape! The glass pieces you make are food safe and a fun way to tap into your creative side. There are many shapes and sizes for you to choose from when making your glass piece (bowls, plates & sun catchers). As you browse through the categories on the left, keep in mind that most patterns can be done to your desired shape! The pictures are samples of projects completed in our store. Below are some of the mold sizes we currently have available.

Sizes of molds are:

Plates:  10 round ripple, 8, 10 &12" round rimmed plate, 8, 10 & 12" ruffle plate, 8" square ripple plate, 9X12 oval tray, 7X12 rectangle tray, 6X10 divided dip tray, 8, 10 or 12" square rimmed plate, 8, 10 or 12" square sushi plate, 12" sq. tray, 11" origami plate

Bowls: 8 or 12 round bowl, 12 ruffle bowl (tight ruffle or soft ruffle), 8 or 12 octagon bowl, 8, 10 or 12 rimmed bowl, 7, 8 or 10" square bowl, 7 & 9" origami bowl, 9X14" large scoop bowl, 6X9" small scoop bowl, 6X12" swoop ripple bowl, 5.5X14" swoop elongated bowl

Misc: 9X12 large lamp bender (put a candle behind), 6X7 small lamp bender, you can make almost any size sun catcher up to 12X17, I have wrought iron stands for flat pieces 8, 10 & 12 rounds and 12 square.

If you'd like your own bottles slumped refer to the above chart for pricing. Try adding some frit to your clear bottles for a fun look for an additional charge.  The bottles need to be clean & label free (even the adhesive removed, use goo gone or some other adhesive remover if necessary). Bottles can be slumped into dip bowls (depending on size) or fired flat if desired.

Select Winter, Spring/Summer, Fall, or Miscellaneous on the left to view patterns.
